Huvepharma is a privately owned company, headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria. Our manufacturing subsidiary, Biovet, is headquartered in Peshtera, Bulgaria, and has independent manufacturing units in various other locations. Large, modern fermentation plants provide capacity for producing major molecules, purification and downstream processing as well as having extensive R&D, quality assurance and packaged goods facilities.

Role Purpose
The Regulatory Filings Manager will own the preparation and submission of all statistical and regulatory reports due in Bulgaria, supporting both Tax and Finance. The role focuses on Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) forms and National Statistical Institute (NSI) reporting as well as other statutory reporting as the case may be. These may include, but are not limited to, tax compliance reports, filings to the Ministry of Finance, labor and employment reports, and other submissions mandated by local regulatory bodies.
Core Responsibilities
1. Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Reporting
Prepare, review and submit all applicable BNB statistical and regulatory forms, including but not limited to:
SPB 1
SPB 3
SPB 4 / SPB 4A
SPB 6A / SPB 6B
SPB 7
SPB 11
Any additional BNB forms arising from financing structures, intercompany loans, guarantees, cash pooling, capital movements.
Key activities include:
Extraction of data from:
Accounting system (AX2012)
Treasury schedules
Intercompany loan files
Cognos / TM1 / Workiva
Reconciliation of reported figures to:
General ledger
Loan amortization schedules
Intercompany balances
Coordination with Treasury regarding:
Loan agreements and annexes
Contract registrations
Drawdowns, repayments and interest movements
Maintenance of BNB working files, historical submissions and reconciliation evidence.
2. National Statistical Institute (NSI) Reporting
Prepare, validate and submit all mandatory statistical reports to NSI, including:
Monthly statistical reports, such as Sales in industry, trade and services.
Quarterly statistical reports, including: activity of non-financial enterprises, fixed assets and investments (where applicable).
Annual statistical reports, including annual enterprise activity reports
Key activities include:
Reconciliation of NSI submissions to:
Management reporting
Statutory financial statements
Trial balance
Management of:
Corrections
Resubmissions
Clarifications requested by NSI
Maintenance of full documentation trail supporting submitted figures.
3. Other Bulgarian Regulatory and Statutory Filings (Non-Tax)
Own and coordinate all other Bulgarian regulatory filings not classified as tax returns, where data originates from Finance, Accounting or related functions, including:
Regulatory financial or statistical declarations required by Bulgarian state authorities, supervisory or statistical bodies, ad hoc regulatory questionnaires or surveys issued by authorities.
Declarations linked to financing, capital structure or cross border transactions, where not classified as tax filings.
Statutory filings requiring consistency with accounting and financial statements, including confirmations, summaries or disclosures submitted outside the annual financial statements package.
4. Data Quality, Controls & Documentation
Ensure full consistency across all regulatory filings, accounting records, management reports and statutory financial statements.
Maintain detailed working papers, reconciliations and control checklists for each filing.
Track all regulatory deadlines and submission calendars relevant to Huvepharma EOOD.
Maintain a structured SharePoint archive of submitted filings, supporting documentation, correspondence with authorities.
Support audits, inspections or regulatory reviews related to regulatory and statistical reporting.
5. Cross Functional Coordination
Work closely with:
Tax Expert (to clearly delineate tax vs. non tax filings)
Finance Controller (to ensure accounting consistency)
Treasury (for financing related reporting)
External consultants (where applicable)
Support process improvements, standardization and automation of regulatory reporting processes.
The role ensures:
Correct interpretation of filing requirements.
Proper sourcing of data from accounting records.
Full reconciliation to official books and records.
Timely submission and documented evidence of compliance.

Qualifications & Profile
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics.
3–6+ years of experience in Bulgarian regulatory and/or statistical reporting.
Strong understanding of the Bulgarian regulatory reporting framework beyond pure tax filings.
Highly detail oriented, structured, reliable and deadline driven.
