Senior ERP Support Administrator

Our IT Department is seeking a committed and driven Senior ERP Support Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability, security, and continuous optimization of our enterprise ERP environment.
The position combines strong technical expertise with solid business understanding, covering the full lifecycle of ERP support — from managing user requests and troubleshooting issues to performing system maintenance, supporting upgrades, testing new functionalities, and ensuring data integrity.
As a primary point of contact for system users, you will provide Level 1 support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, timely resolution of incidents, and a high standard of service delivery. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of ERP processes and system capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
User Support & Service Management
Act as the primary point of contact for user support related to ERP system functionalities
Troubleshoot end-user system issues and queries in a timely and effective manner
Ensure proper ticket lifecycle management, including prioritization and escalation where necessary
Help users define and structure business requirements during service request submission
Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with end users to analyze and define new functional requirements
Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system usage
Propose and drive enhancements to increase efficiency and user adoption
System Operations & Stability
Monitor system performance, availability, and usage to ensure optimal ERP operation
Execute and support regular system maintenance activities (e.g., batch jobs, clean-ups, monitoring alerts)
Change & Release Management
Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment of system changes, updates, and new functionalities
Participate in UAT processes and ensure business readiness for releases
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of changes in line with CAB and DevOps practices
Collaboration & Vendor Management
Work closely with external consultants delivering second-level support to ensure efficient issue resolution and knowledge transfer
Training & Knowledge Management
Provide training to end users and IT team members
Develop, maintain, and deliver training materials and documentation
Create, update, and maintain knowledge base articles to enhance user support and drive efficient issue resolution
Security, Access & Compliance
Set up, maintain, and manage user access rights across systems, ensuring appropriate permissions are applied
Control and monitor license assignment based on user roles and actual system usage
Promote, monitor, and enforce adherence to internal processes, procedures, and service management standards
Participate in audits by providing required evidence and documentation
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Strong ERP functional expertise with solid understanding of end-to-end business processes and ERP support operations, preferably in D365 FO or AX
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and deliver effective solutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business users, IT teams, external partners, and management
Strong service orientation with disciplined approach to incident, change, and access management
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
3–5+ years of relevant experience in ERP support, ERP administration, or a similar role
